Edgar Bronfman Jr. is a Managing Partner at Accretive LLC, a unique firm that specializes in creating companies to solve important problems in large industries. For Global Thermostat, Mr. Bronfman serves as the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and following an initial investment in 2010, he became the company’s first investor. Additionally, Mr. Bronfman is a co-founder and General Partner of Waverley Capital, a venture capital group focused on the opportunities presented by disruption in the media industry. Mr. Bronfman is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Warner Music, one of the world’s largest music companies. During Mr. Bronfman’s tenure, WMG was named one of Fortune Magazine’s “Most Admired Companies” in 2007, the first music company ever to receive the honor and, in 2009, was recognized as one of the “The World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies,” by Fast Company magazine. Mr. Bronfman serves on the board of InterActiveCorp. He is Chairman of the Board of Endeavor Global, a non-profit organisation pioneering a new approach to international development. He also serves on the board of New York University’s Elaine A. and Kenneth G. Langone Medical Center, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
